2022 Australian federal election

The 2022 Australian federal election will be held on the 21st of May 2022 to decide on participants of the forty-seventh Parliament of the people of Australia.
The current Liberal-National Coalition government, duly led by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, is in search of winning a fourth consecutive time period in office.
They will be keenly challenged by their biggest opposition, Anthony Albanese the leader of the Labor Party. The Greens, United Australia, One Nation, different minor parties, and independent politicians will also keenly contest the prestigious election.
With all 151 seats in the lower house, the House of Representatives, and forty of the seventy-six seats in the upper house, the Senate, will be up for the election.
Australian Federal Election 2022
The Australian Federal Election is fastly approaching. For citizens and eligible voters that will be in foreign places on the election day, 21st May 2022, it’s very essential that one has to plan ahead of time to be certain one’s vote is counted as part of the total votes cast.
Also, for Australians who are traveling overseas in May (the month of the Federal Election) Pre-ballot balloting begins for them in Australia on May 9, 2022.
If you can, duly cast a pre-ballot vote at an early vote casting center before traveling out of Australia. Check Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) website for a list of available locations.
If you can’t vote early earlier before leaving, the AEC advises overseas citizens duly participate in this Federal Election by the use of a postal vote if you are not able to vote in an overseas location.
To solidify a postal vote from outside Australia, you want to complete a postal vote application.

18 May 2022 – postal vote applications close
21 May 2022 – election day
3 June 2022 – last day for votes to be received
