Accra Hearts of Oak release “Surplus to Requirement” Ansah Botchway, Kofi Kordzi and others
The Phobians have parted ways with two of their top stars Kofi Kordzi and Frederick Ansah Botchway.
After a stint with Qatari side Muthair SC, Kordzi returned to the Accra-based club with the hope of making a mark. He made just 22 appearances and netted only 7 goals for the Phobians.
Patrick Razak, William Dankyi, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim, and Manaf Umar are the others. This means their time at the club is over.
An article on heartsofoaksc.com reads;
“Accra Hearts of Oak has officially notified Kofi Kordzi and Ansah Botchway that they are surplus to requirement. Both parties are in the process to mutually terminate their contracts,” Hearts announced on Tuesday.
“Meanwhile, the club has also informed Patrick Razak, William Dankyi, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim and Manaf Umar that their contracts will not be renewed. We wish to thank them for their services during their stay with the club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
