In a message uploaded on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, 6th September 2022, he stated;
“Aisha Huang’s arrest, prosecution, dismissal of the case, deportation, return, and re-arrest expose the true state of Akufo-administration,” Addo’s statement reads.
He said that those like Osafo Marfo, who advised Akufo-Addo to become weary, had led Ghana to where it is currently.
“This is how this government actually functions. If Akufo-Addo had not been elected president of Ghana, many people could have believed incorrectly that we had missed our chance to elect the best leader.” Added he.
According to Raymond, Akufo-Addo was reluctant during his first term before admitting failure and requesting a national discussion on how to deal with galamsey in his second term.
The economy of Akufo-Addo/Bawumia was strong and resilient only in speeches, not in the face of the effects of the Covid and the Russia/Ukraine war. We are now performing poorer than our regional competitors. Added he.
“Akufo-Addo and Bawumia have let down Ghana and its citizens. They not only fell far short of expectations, but they also made money for their friends and family at the expense of Ghana and Ghanaians. They ran an opposition campaign against this.” Raymond declared.
