Arise Ghana Demo
Arise Ghana has started its two-day protest against President Akuffo Addo and his Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, over what it calls their “poor governance.”
The protesters are made up of members of a number of political parties in Ghana, including the Convention People’s Party, the National Democratic Congress, and the ruling New Patriotic Party, among other smaller parties.
At the Obra Spot, the protesters gathered before marching across to Independence Square.
Conflicts between some protesters and the police and other security organizations have reportedly occurred.
