Confirmed! Invitation Letter to Ken Agyapong by Asogli State

It has been revealed that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the member of parliament for Assin Central Constituency, was officially invited by the Asogli State Council for this year’s Te Za (Yam Festival).
According to a formal letter seen by 3news.com, Mr. Agyapong was invited in his capacity as the board chairman of the Ghana National Gas Company as recently as Monday, July 25.
On Friday, September 9, and the culmination on Saturday, September 10, he was invited to see the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, in the sitting-in state.

However, when Ken Agyapong came up for the ceremony, the Asogli State Council turned him away.
The traditional council also rejected his gifts on the grounds that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician had previously defamed Togbe Afede XIV.
In response to the Asogli State Council’s move, Ken Agyapong got in his car and left.
