Drake Named Shazam’s Most Searched Artist Of All Time

Drake has recently been voted Shazam’s most searched artist of all time, adding to the countless accolades and honors he has already won over his storied career.
According to Complex, the music identification service is commemorating its 20th birthday by providing some interesting statistics from the past, such as the genres with the most Shazamed songs and many other interesting facts.
Regarding Drizzy’s most recent achievement, he has surpassed 350 million Shazams (songs he has either written or been featured on) to take the #1 spot on the platform’s all-time searches list. The song “One Dance” from 2016 with Kyla Reid and Wizkid is the father of one and has had over 17 million searches since its release.
The announcement comes just after the 35-year-old hailed the success of his most recent single, “Staying Alive,” by DJ Khaled, which also features Lil Baby and is his 30th song to chart in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100.
Drake shattered The Beatles’ record, which had stood for 55 years, at this point, but he kept it low-key and posted a picture of an empty plate with the caption, “Just another celebration,” and a shrug emoji.
