Elon Musk ‘secretly’ welcomed twins with his company’s top executive last year
Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, now has nine known children after discreetly giving birth to twins in November 2021 with Shivon Zilis, a senior executive at his neurotechnology company Neuralink, according to court records.
According to court documents obtained by Business Insider on Wednesday, the couple petitioned to have their twins’ names changed so that they would “have their father’s last name and incorporate their mother’s last name as part of their middle name.” This unexpected disclosure was made.
The world’s richest man, Musk, has two children with singer Claire Boucher, better known by her stage name Grimes, and five children with his first wife, Justine Musk.
According to rumors, Musk and Grimes’ second surrogate child was delivered a few weeks before the twins.
Zilis apparently first interacted with Musk in 2016 while serving as a director at OpenAI, where she is currently the youngest director on the board.
Natasha Bassett, who is well-known for her roles in Britney Ever After and Elvis, and Musk are presently dating.
