Fans outraged after Drake posted a picture of an unknown women
After posting a covertly snapped photo of an unaware woman to his Instagram page on Thursday, Drake has come under fire.
When the 35-year-old rapper stated that he had initially intended to AirDrop the picture to the woman directly because “she’s a dime,” he received more criticism.
Currently, on vacation, the celebrity shared a video of himself singing along to a song being sung by the waiter at a restaurant earlier that day.
Soon after, he posted the contentious picture that appeared to have been taken in the same eatery. A woman is seen in the photo staring down at her phone while seated at her table with a male buddy.
She is dressed in a pink patterned crop top with her blonde hair pulled back, and she appears to be entirely unaware of Drake’s attention.

But instead of laughing, Drake’s stunned fans compared his behavior to the stalker Joe Goldberg in the Netflix series You and dubbed his actions “so horribly scary.”
Another admirer commented, “Wow he actually just snapped a shot of a woman and released it to tens of millions of followers without her consent,” pointing out that it wasn’t apparent if he had the woman’s permission to post the picture.
Many others were horrified by Drake’s conduct, and several said that while it would be terrible if a stranger were victimized in this way by anyone, the fact that the rapper has such a huge platform makes it all the more problematic.
