First picture of Queen Elizabeth’s resting place released
The Queen’s final resting location has received its first official photo.
The 96-year-old Queen is interred alongside her husband, Prince Philip, and her parents.
The ledger stone in the George VI Memorial Chapel currently says, in accordance with the neighborhood media:
1895–1952: George VI
1900-2002: Elizabeth
Star Garter
1926 until 2022: Elizabeth II
Philip 1921–2021
Monday’s private funeral was followed by the placement of the new stone in the chapel.
Prior to this, Prince Philip had visited the Royal Vault.
Members of the Order of the Garter included King George VI, Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, and the Duke of Edinburgh.
