North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has made a dangerous call to the country’s military leaders to “strengthen up their military expertise in every way to annihilate the enemy” as new satellite images showed extensive preparations for a probable nuclear test.
After media session saw the ferocious leader Kim Jong Un make remarks to the soldiers, broadcasters, and others involved in the vast military parade the country staged on Monday to mark the 90th anniversary of the army’s founding.
Media releases by state broadcasters showed Kim mounted on a white horse and wearing a white, military-style tunic with gold trim as he examined the troops.

The 90th anniversary parade had featured various latest missiles, including its major intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the Hwasong-17, and a freshly tested hypersonic missile.
The presentation demonstrated the “modernity, heroism and drastic development of the armed forces of the Republic and their unrivaled military and technological dominance,” Kim told the soldiers at the media session, state news agency KCNA reported.
North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un affirms it opposes war and that its weapons are for self-defence, but at Monday’s parade, he mentioned the mission of its nuclear force moved beyond deterring war and also included defending the nation’s “fundamental interests”.
Nuclear preparations
Last month North Korea resumed testing its largest ICBMs, all indications points to a latest nucleartest weapon for the first time since the last.
“Recent satellite imagery indicates that preparations are well ongoing and should not be discounted as insignificant activity,” the US-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) said in a report on Thursday.
