Lagos Tops list of Five (5) Cities that are unsafe for women to live
Plenty of places are in the world that are difficult for women to live in. This is according to Thomas Reuter Foundation.
Thorough research was conducted in 19 big cities all over the world where women, find it very hard to enjoy life in as compared to men.
Some of the issues used to judge in their research are:
- Woman health
- Sexual violence
- Culture and traditions
- Money-related issues..
Lagos, Nigeria
Lagos enters the list as the number eight worst place for women to stay in the world. This is due to ancient traditions that women suffer from. These include circumcision for women.
Another reason is money-related issues. The research disclosed that women barely get help to start businesses in the city.
Lima, Peru
Lima, in Peru in the South American Continent, is number five on the list of worst cities for woman to live.
It had the worst rating for woman health care as there low better healthcare for Pregnant women and this makes it very for women to born and large number of them dies during labour.
Women also find it difficult safely in the city.
Delhi, India
New Delhi is the Capital of the country India. There are a lot of people living in the city.
Rape cases are on high each year. The city has been nicknamed the “rape capital” of India.
The women were treated poorly and badly as most men disregard women and violate their sexual rites on daily basis. There are also major concerns about money, education place to live etc…

Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo
Kinshasa in Congo is the second worst city for women. Women are treated very badly in the City. Less money for women and inadequate education among others make it the worst city to live in as a woman.
Just like the previously listed cities, they also do not have better health care to help women. They are enlisted as the second worst healthcare city for women worldwide.
Cairo, Egypt
This city carries the position of the worst city for women to live in. Their traditions force innocent women to get circumcised and enter forced marriages.
Their women are also not protected from sexual violence.
