Mary Chirwa: the head of Zambia’s drug enforcement agency, is under fire for her leaks of gifts
Yesterday, certain pornographic movies went viral, with detractors claiming that Zambia’s Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) Director General Mary Chirwa was the focus of the offensive content.
In the aforementioned videos, a woman can be seen fiddling with her private parts while posing for the camera.
However, Mary Chirwa has been defended on the topic by Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema through State House Press Officer Anthony Bwalya.
The president has a lot more important things to do in Kalumbila, where he is slated to commission a nickel mine today, according to Bwalya, so he won’t have time to respond to a claim.
Do you really want the President to comment on an allegation? “That is just an allegation. That won’t take place. The people at the engen filling station want jobs and a healthy economy, but that story is untrue; what matters is what is happening in Kalumbila, where the President has given Mary Chirwa one task: fighting crime. I’ll ask you to look out of your window to see this. The President is simply concerned about her job, which is to safeguard the country’s integrity and public resources, according to Bwalya.
Meanwhile, the Patriotic Front (PF) of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has been under fire for allegedly editing the footage that was leaked.
