Prof. Anokye Mohammed Adam appointed Provost of CoDE-UCC
Prof. Anokye Mohammed Adam, a 45-year-old professor of business administration, has been named the new provost of the University of Cape Coast College of Distance Education, or CoDE.
He succeeds Professor Isaac Galyuon, whose six-year term ends at the end of July.
Since the UCC Centre for Continuing Education became the College of Distance Education, Prof. Adam will be the fourth person to hold that role. Both a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Leicester and a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the Open University in Malaysia are held by Prof. Adam.
At the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, and University of Central Carolina, UCC, he also earned his first and second degrees in mathematics.
Additionally, he has a Professional Certificate in Online Teaching for Educators: Development and Delivery from the University of British Columbia and a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Petroleum Studies.
Prof. Adam is presently the Head of Business Programs at CoDE and formerly worked as the Head of Finance at the UCC School of Business.
He has authored numerous distance learning modules and more than 80 publications to his name.
